Palm oil is pressed from the palm fruit on the oil palm tree. The pulp and kernel produce palm oil and palm kernel oil respectively. The traditional concept of palm oil only includes the former. Palm oil can be refined and fractionated to obtain products with different melting points, which are widely used in the catering industry, food industry and oleochemical industry.
The following will briefly introduce the production process from palm fruit to palm crude oil. Our company can provide all equipment.
1. Palm fruit reception and storage
Workers receive the palm fruit and transport it to the factory for weighing. Then pour into palm fruit slopes for storage. When it needs to be processed, open the discharge door, and the palm fruit will fall to the conveyor and be transported to the sterilization section.
2. Sterilization section
Sterilization uses high temperature to prevent the palm fruit from going rancid. The palm fruit is steamed at 300KPa for 30 minutes, which reduces the enzyme activity and prevents the acid value from rising.
3. Fruit removal section
Palm fruits make up 60% of palm fruit bunches. In this section, we use rotating cylinders to separate palm fruit.
4. Crushing section
This section mainly destroys the palm peel and separates the palm pulp and nuts. Pound the palm pulp to destroy the nuclei and prepare it for the next step of pressing.
5. Pressing section
Screw palm oil press is commonly used pressing equipment. After pressing, oil-water mixture and press cake (fiber cake) can be obtained.
6. Crude palm oil
Use a filter to separate the fibers in the crude oil. The oil and water are then separated by precipitation. After separation, the crude oil is filtered and vacuum dried to obtain crude palm oil.
